Privacy Notice It has emerged that King Charles has turned to spiritual leaders for counsel, leading him to consider mending his strained relationship with his younger son, Prince Harry. Known for being a deeply spiritual man, The King has reportedly found solace in the wisdom they’ve provided. A source told MailOnline: “Faith has always been a part of Charles’s life and something he’s explored, but since becoming King it is playing a more central role.” They also mentioned: “That reliance on faith and quiet contemplation has become a comfort and asset to him and helps him cope with the role as he adapts to being King.”

Notably spiritual and a frequent church attendee, King Charles has vowed to honour Britain’s diverse religious landscape in his duty as the Church of England’s head. His Coronation showcased modernity and inclusivity, reflecting a multi-faith society, unlike Queen Elizabeth II’s ceremony. OK! has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment. Prince Harry last visited his father this February, following King Charles’ announcement regarding his health. The visit at Clarence House, albeit brief, marked Harry’s return to the UK from America, where he lives with Meghan Markle and their children. Tensions have risen between Harry and the King since Harry and Meghan resigned from their positions as senior working royals in 2020.

Since their departure from royal duties, Harry and Meghan have been candid about their personal experiences, sharing insights in interviews like the bombshell chat with Oprah Winfrey and through their self-titled Netflix documentary series, stirring up controversy among royal commentators. A source speaking to MailOnline hinted at hope for a reconciliation: “Harry will always be Charles’s much-loved son. He has faith that Harry could return. He misses the bond they once had, and the door will always remain open to him and his family. He does not want years of discord and disharmony clouding his reign.”

Amidst this backdrop, there are concerns within the palace regarding the financial future of the Sussexes, especially if their lucrative Netflix contract isn’t renewed next year, as recent speculation suggests Netflix may not continue its partnership with the Duke and Duchess, casting doubt on their independent financial ventures post-Megxit. After stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quickly inked a five-year, multi-million dollar deal with Netflix to produce content. With the contract due to end next year, there’s been speculation about a possible renewal for the royal pair. Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting two Netflix series from the couple: one based on Meghan’s brand ‘American Riviera Orchard’ and another focusing on Harry’s interest in polo.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
