Privacy NoticePrince William and Prince Harry are said to have fallen out in 2016, after William expressed concern over how fast his brother’s relationship with Meghan Markle was moving. Harry recounted in his memoir, Spare, the problems in his relationship with William, despite the brothers once being close. In fact, just the year before their alleged disagreement, nothing seemed further from their minds than the issue of a royal rift. The pair were seen spending a fun-filled weekend together, participating in a charity polo match to support vulnerable children. The brothers showcased their equestrian skills at the exclusive Audi Polo Challenge event held at Coworth Park, Ascot, Berkshire during the last weekend on May, 2015.

Looking dapper in white jodhpurs and shirts, they played to raise significant funds for charities close to their hearts. Despite the competitive nature of the match, the princes found time to share a laugh, with William showing concern for Harry after he complained of a pulled muscle. Harry was seen getting some treatment for a knock he sustained during the match. William was also spotted sneaking a peek at his brother’s mobile phone, while he appeared to be texting – and whatever he saw, made him laugh out loud. The event saw them team up to raise crucial funds for charities like Child Bereavement UK and WellChild. Both princes appeared happy and relaxed as they walked across the well-maintained grounds, albeit a bit flushed from their horse-riding exploits. Prince Harry was even spotted having a lengthy chat with Hollywood star Samuel L Jackson, known for his roles in Django Unchained and Pulp Fiction, reports the Express.

The brothers appeared to be in good spirits again some years later, at another polo match. In July 2019, they took to opposite sides of the field during a sporting event raising money for charities in memory of Leicester City owner Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who died in a helicopter crash. While William was triumphant on the field, Harry seemed to be graceful in defeat and flashed a smile at his big brother, before putting his arm around him, placing it gently on his back as they posed for pictures during the trophy presentation. It’s understood that Prince William has now severed all contact with Harry, and it’s unclear when they last met. During his January 2023 appearance on 60 Minutes, Harry disclosed that he and William were not in communication, saying: “Currently, no. But I look forward to… I look forward to us being able to find peace.”Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
