Loungewear is a must-have for any wardrobe, perfect for a relaxed brunch date, staying snug at home, or even hitting the gym. Recently, former Made In Chelsea star Zara McDermott was seen sporting a ‘really comfy’ jumper that’s just right for achieving that off-duty vibe. In a photo shared to the New Look Instagram account, the 28-year-old looked ready for winter in a matching loungewear set in a rich chocolate brown shade. It comes as the reality-star-turned-documentary-maker launched her own brand – Rise by Zara McDermott – in the popular high street store. The exact jumper she wore in the photo is the Rise by Zara McDermott Brown Scuba Quarter Zip Jumper, priced at £35, reports the Mirror. Available in a relaxed fit in sizes 8-22, it’s made from a ‘gorgeous’ scuba material that shoppers are loving, featuring a trendy funnel neck and quarter zip. Zara teamed hers with matching trousers, chestnut Uggs and an autumnal scarf, with her hair half up to show off some gold statement earrings, elevating an otherwise casual ensemble. Zara has released the new co-ord as part of her Rise brand following the success of the original cream colourway. She took to Instagram to swoon about the fabric, describing it as “like velvet to the touch”.
The £35 jumper has already been receiving praise from shoppers, with one commenting: “I purchased the top and bottoms in this set. They’re both gorgeous material, really comfy and the bottoms are warmer than expected. I’m 5ft 9 with specifically long legs and the trousers fit me – these things never do! “The top is a little shorter than I’d like but not too bad considering. The sizing is pretty accurate, they’re true to size but if in doubt with the top size up if you maybe want a little bit more length as it’s not excessively baggy otherwise.” “Lovely material and colour ,” wrote a second. “Fits the well, feels like it will wear and last well too. Only minor disappointment is that it’s almost impossible for the collar to stand up like it does in the photo with model… there’s not enough rigidity in the material.” The Rise Black Label collection launched at New Look in November and features slouchy streetwear tracksuits, cosy knit separates and figure-hugging sculpt sets. Prices start from £20 and go up to £45 with sizes ranging from 8-22.

Speaking about the range, Zara said: “Creating Rise Black Label has been a dream and vision since Rise was born back in 2022. After the fantastic response to our white label this year, I am excited to launch the Black label which has enabled us to elevate styles and fabrics. We’ve been adventurous with shapes and cuts, but kept it tonal so you can still mix and match pieces. “Some of our core fabrics have been elevated further, and I’m so excited for people to be able to feel the love that has gone into carefully selecting these. We are incredibly proud to announce New Look as our first online retail partner; I’m a huge fan of the brand and how their clothes cater for so many on all levels. I know that Rise will sit so well as part of the New Look family and I am incredibly grateful to have them as part of the Rise journey.” Zara isn’t the only celeb launching new fashion ranges lately. Michelle Keegan, who recently announced her pregnancy, unveiled her latest collection with Very that’s packed full of everything from sequin-covered partywear pieces to cosy winter essentials like knitwear and denim. Meanwhile, ITV fashion expert Mark Heyes, who regularly appears on Lorraine, has launched a ‘Chosen by Mark’ collection at Roman. It stars some of the retailer’s best styles this season, including dresses, tops, trousers, coats and more.
