Liam, 31, fell to his death from the third floor of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Wednesday, October 16. Prior to the incident, he had spent time with Aldana Serrano, 31, and Lucila Goitea, 27, at the Casa Sur Hotel, where they arrived around 11:30am local time. The group then headed to Liam’s suite, but the women left about five hours later, at 4pm – just an hour before Liam’s fatal fall. According to reports, Liam was arguing with a woman in the hotel lobby over money shortly before his death. He fell 45ft, landing in the hotel’s inner courtyard. Hotel staff had called 911, expressing concerns about a man who appeared to be under the influence of drink and drugs and was behaving aggressively.

Sources close to the women claim they are “devastated” by Liam’s death. A friend told the Sunday Mirror: “They have been cooperative from the moment they found out Liam died. They have told police they did nothing wrong and left well before he fell. The two girls have vowed to continue help investigators and have said they will speak to police at any time.” Speaking to The Sun, a source revealed: “Aldana and Lucila are absolutely heartbroken by what happened after they left the hotel. They immediately co-operated with the police as soon as they were contacted and wanted to assist with the investigation as much as possible. The police have the girls’ contact details and will get in touch with them if they require any more information.”

Both ladies hail from the downtown area of Buenos Aires. Police had interrogated five individuals, two of whom were the women seen with Liam for a “reconstruction of his last hours”. Appearing on an Argentinian TV show, a local journalist shared: “He was in his room with two women where drugs were accessible. I’m not going to disclose their surnames. “[Woman A] gave her statement last night and [Woman B] has just concluded hers.” Prosecutors, in their initial official statement, confirmed they had questioned five witnesses, identifying two as women and three as hotel employees, and verified that Liam had 25 separate injuries. In their extensive statement, they also confirmed the removal of “several substances” from Liam’s room which they believe would indicate he had taken drugs prior to falling to his death from a third-floor hotel balcony. It remains unclear who the police suspect could have provided him with the drugs.

A forensic report confirmed that Liam had sustained 25 injuries due to his devastating fall. It was also highlighted that the cranioencephalic injuries were sufficiently severe to cause death, while the internal and external haemorrhages in the skull, thorax, abdomen and limbs contributed to the cause of death.” The forensic experts also concluded that, upon examining his hands, no defensive injuries were discovered, all the injuries on the body were life-threatening and occurred simultaneously, and there were no injuries observed that would suggest the involvement of third parties.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
