Privacy NoticeWill Young had a hilarious moment on Monday’s The One Show, where he seemed to accidentally reveal a significant TV spoiler. The singer, 45, was there to discuss his new album Light It Up, single and tour, but the conversation turned to his upcoming role in ITV drama McDonald and Dodds. Speaking about his character, Will revealed: “Yes, I’m playing a baddie! ” When asked if he had any more TV gigs in the pipeline, Will hinted: “I might have a job next year, yes, I’m not allowed to talk about.” Delving deeper into his McDonald and Dodds role, Will seemed to inadvertently drop a major spoiler as he said: “It’s really fun playing a baddie it’s great, I’m not going to spoil it if I’m the murderer or not… but I very well could be”, struggling to keep a straight face before bursting into laughter as he appeared to let slip a spoiler. As The One Show wrapped up, Will was seen laughing uncontrollably with fellow guests Paapa Essiedu and Sharon Duncan-Brewster, amused by his ‘spoiler’. The fourth season of McDonald and Dodds has recently returned to ITV, featuring a host of guest stars, including Pixie Lott in a recent episode. Meanwhile, The One Show’s Anita Rani had to step in during Danny Dyer and Ryan Sampson’s interview last Friday. The pair were on the show to chat about their latest comedy series, Mr Bigstuff, where they portray estranged siblings Lee and Glen, reports the Mirror. But things took an unexpected turn when the conversation shifted to the unique gift Ryan gave Danny after wrapping up filming – a massive rug with Danny’s face on it.

As Ryan explained his choice of gift, he said he’d been getting ‘rug tufting’ videos on social media when a puzzled Roman Kemp interjected with: “Sorry, rug tufting? ” Danny couldn’t resist quipping: “Algorithms, you know what I mean! Rug tufting, it’s a thing!” Sensing the banter could potentially veer into risque territory, Anita quickly cut in, reminding them: “Hang on, remember it is 7pm on BBC One! ” Danny swiftly calmed any concerns by affirming: “It’s all above board, don’t worry! ” with Ryan chiming in: “It’s all above board!” The hilarious exchange had viewers chuckling away, as one fan tweeted: “Anita has just had to remind both Ryan and Danny of the time and day #TheOneShow” accompanied by a laughing emoji. Another viewer expressed excitement for the duo’s new Sky comedy, tweeting: “This new @MrDDyer @sky comedy looks absolutely fabulous!”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
