In one moving moment, he said: “Everything is temporary. No joy lasts forever. No pain lasts forever, either. That’s life. You have to accept what it is, not what you want it to be.” Arthur’s daughter Julie Birrell revealed the death of her father, who fought in the Second World War, yesterday, posting simply: ’14/3/24 – 8/8/24. RIP Dad.” Welcome To Wrexham producer Bryan Swarberg sent condolences, writing: ‘Incredibly sorry for your loss. His was a life well lived. He was a great man. Love to you and the family.’ Wrexham fan Craig Jones added: “So sorry to hear this Julie. Your Dad was a really lovely man who touched so many after appearing on the documentary. I’m so happy he got to see our last two seasons and I’m sure he’ll be cheering us on tomorrow.” Welcome To Wrexham, which is entering its fourth series, follows the twists and turns of Wrexham AFC, a club in north east Wales, after its purchase by Rob and Ryan, which was completed in early 2021. At the time the club competed in the National League, the fifth tier of the English football pyramid. After a series of promotions, documented on the show, they now play in the third tier, League One. After clinching victory to the Football League, Rob said: “I think we can hear how it feels to the town and that’s what’s most important to us. I think this is a moment of catharsis for them and celebration and for us to be welcomed into their community and to be welcomed into this experience has been the honour of my life.” Sign up to OK!’s daily newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for freeStory SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
