Privacy NoticeThe feud between Prince Harry and Prince William has been described as “a war”, with revelations that the brothers haven’t spoken for two years. In his memoir titled ‘Spare’, Harry discloses that they “barely exchanged a word” at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral on September 19, 2022, and it appears they haven’t communicated since. Royal author Robert Lacey suggests their disagreement dates back to 2002 when Harry made headlines for smoking cannabis. Although they reportedly clashed over the “colonials and natives” party scandal, where Harry was photographed dressed as a Nazi, their relationship deteriorated further in 2019. Harry alleged that William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor”, shattering a dog bowl during a physical fight. Then, in 2021, Harry and Meghan decided to step away from their Royal duties, relocating to Montecito in the USA.

Since then, speculation has been rife about what role the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will play in the monarchy’s future. However, CNN Royal Commentator Sandro Monetti believes a return is improbable, reports the Express. While appearing on Channel 5’s ‘Meghan and Harry: The Rise and Fall’, he stated: “I see no path for Harry and Meghan to return to the Royal Family. There is so much bad blood, that’s the reality – it’s a war.” Royal commentator Roya Nikkhah has expressed her sorrow over the current state of affairs between Prince William and Prince Harry. On her podcast ‘The Royals with Roya and Kate’, she remarked: “The family dynamics and relationships here with his father, his brother William, have been shattered I think it’s fair to say.

She further commented: “The permafrost seems pretty frozen – particularly through the brothers. And I think that relationship with his father is incredibly strained.” Representatives for Prince Harry and Prince William have been approached by OK! for a statement.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
