And holiday rental company Vrbo has now released its list of top holiday homes in the UK for 2025, with a number of stunning homes from each corner of the country featured. Topping the list, a charming 1550 castle in Scotland’s Kilmartin, Argyll and Bute tops the chart has been named one of Vrbo’s Global Holiday Homes Of The Year – with a wild swimming pool, organic fruit and veg patch and a rustic wood burner completing the property. Further South, you can even stay on your very own private island in the Lake District at Hermitage House, a manor house which features it’s own casino and private cinema.
