Privacy NoticeThe Love Island talent show is back, meaning it’s time to brace yourself for some of the most cringeworthy moments on TV. This year’s instalment certainly won’t disappoint, as Joey Essex performs a rap he wrote himself and Matilda puts on a puppet show with her feet! The villa talent show will triumphantly return to our screens tonight (Tuesday, 23 July) as the islanders showcase their wonderful, and sometimes rather wacky skills. In the past, we’ve seen Siânnise Fudge and Luke Trotman put on an energetic dancing duet and Millie Court attempt the keyboard in what appeared to be her first time, not to mention Indiyah Polack’s hilarious recorder performance back in 2022.

It’s become one of the most iconic instalments of the show and makes its mark in the build-up to the Love Island final. It will all kick off tonight after Reuben receives a text which reads: “Islanders, the spotlight awaits. Tonight, it’s your turn to shine at The Love Talent Show! #ShowUpAndShowOff #GetPractising.” Joey quickly exclaims: “This is our time to shine!”, as the islanders brush up on their skills and prepare for the night’s entertainment. First on the stage is Nicole who treats her fellow islanders to a sexy dance, “Ciaran’s jaw was on the floor and that’s all I wanted tonight was to see Ciaran’s face like that, so mission complete!”, she says afterwards. Reuben follows with a rendition of the classic song Singing in the Rain as he showcases his whistling and singing talents. With the original video of the tune involving a lamppost, he calls Grace to be his “lovely lamppost of a lady”.

Grace then leads a yoga class as she encourages the islanders to downward dog, while Josh leads a ‘pancake and waffle masterclass’ to show off his culinary skills. One memorable performance comes from Joey as he performs a rap he wrote himself – we’re already wondering if it’ll have his favourite word of reem included. Ciaran takes to the stage with his rugby skills, Jess puts on an artist masterclass, Sean dresses as a candyman to dish out sweets to his villa pals and Jessy gives a performance on stilts.

We’re also set for more musical wonders as Ayo plays the flute rendition of Mary Had A Little Lamb and Mimii sings her heart out to A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton. After all islanders have performed, they’ll vote for their favourite to be crowned the winner of the Love Island 2024 talent show – brace yourselves, it’s going to be good!
