The Loose Women star and her ITV co-stars were chatting about what they do with “old pieces of tat,” discussing whether they prefer to keep or bin them. Former This Morning star Ruth revealed she was in the midst of decluttering, stating: “I’m not a hoarder, I’m a clearer outer.” She added with a hint of mischief: “Come round, I’ve always got a skip outside. I’m throwing out a lot of stuff out at the moment!” This comes after Ruth and Eamonn, both 64, ended their 14-year marriage. Eamonn has reportedly moved on with new girlfriend, 42 year old Katie Alexander.

It was previously reported that Ruth had been keen to remove “constant reminders” of her former partner from her home and wanted him to “pack up his belongings and move out” post-split. A source said: “Ruth doesn’t want him to feel like he can pop back and forth when he likes to grab bits.” They continued: “She wants a clean slate and has even told friends she might change the locks.” The same source shared that Ruth had been planning a time for him to collect his things, otherwise they may end up “taken to a skip”, with some pals jokingly suggesting a car boot sale could be on the cards. Eamonn is thought to have moved out of their mansion prior to their surprise divorce announcement, according to the Express.

Meanwhile, Katie and Eamonn attended the wedding of TV presenter Hayley Sparkes over the weekend, where they put on a loved-up display. The pair posed for pictures and beamed alongside friends as they glammed up for the day, just months after debuting their new relationship. GB News presenter Eamonn and relationship councillor Katie, 42, are believed to have started dating in recent months after becoming friends a few years ago – and have already enjoyed their first holiday together.
