Privacy NoticeSydnie Christmas is expected to win Britain’s Got Talent 2024, after blowing audiences away with her incredible performances. The singer is a front runner for tonight’s final and expected to take home the crown after moving the celebrity judges to tears with her semi-final act. Ladbrokes have revealed that the singer remains the overwhelming favourite at 2/5 to be crowned champion, with Alex Mitchell next in the betting at 4/1 ahead of Abigail & Afronitaa (7/1). Elsewhere, every other act is currently 12/1 or bigger, while Northants Sings Out and Trixy head into tonight’s final priced as the current rank outsiders at 66/1 apiece. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “We’ve seen some sensational acts along the way, but it all boils down to tonight’s final, where the odds suggest it’s going to take something pretty special to stop Sydnie Christmas from winning the series.” 28 year old Sydnie sang Frank Sinatra’s My Way, earning a standing ovation from the audience and unanimous praise from the judges.

Judge Amanda Holden was moved to tears, while Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, and Alesha Dixon were left in awe of her talent. After her performance, Amanda Holden commented: “I have to sit down; I thought I was going to pass out during that. “Honestly, Sydnie, when we saw your audition, I had so many people come up and stop me. And tonight you have done even better. I just cannot believe your capacity, your fire, and your strength.”

Bruno Tonioli added: “I cannot believe it. The way you build up to the high note, hitting it with such power and clarity. It was stunning, stunning.” Alesha Dixon said: “My heart was pounding the whole way through that. That is the job of a singer. You are a superstar in the making.” Simon Cowell praised her performance, stating: “It wasn’t a 10; it was an 11 in my opinion. If it wasn’t for people like you, I wouldn’t bother making this show. And you have to wonder who were these idiots you auditioned for that didn’t give you the break before. The only people you need to trust are the audience; they always get it right.”Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
