Privacy NoticeBritain’s Got Talent fans claim to have figured out how Jack Rhodes’ winning magic trick works, following a ‘big blunder’. The magician took to the stage at the second semi-final and wowed the judges with his creative act. Jack competed against seven other acts in a bid to win a spot in the upcoming grand final. He came out on top, with the public voting him as the best act, and all four of the judges – Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli – were stunned by his tricks. However, viewers at home claimed to have noticed a mistake in his performance. Taking to social media, one person shared how they thought the blunder had played out.

The fan wrote: “YOU COULD SEE HIM STEP DOWN AND THEN WALK OFF BACK STAGE BEHIND THE BOX #BritainsGotTalent,” before later adding video evidence of the alleged error. Sharing details of what happened, they continued: “Not that I thought magic was real but this was sloppy. Simon saying this should win and Bruno saying it’s the best magic act ever is a disservice to some of the great polished acts we have seen. He also got his foot stuck in the two way mirror at the end lol #BritainsGotTalent.” Nevertheless, other fans loved the performance and were rooting for Jack. One person said: “Jack Rhodes performance was the best I’ve seen of the entire season!! It’s not even about the magic.. it’s the showmanship, it’s the humour. Love it, he’s getting my vote! #BritainsGotTalent.”

“I love magic and I love you Jack Rhodes. Your magic has been incredible tonight. Your have great humour and your magic tonight has been unbelievable. #BGT,” a second penned. A third added: “Absolutely amazing, easily the best magic act this show has ever had. Add to that the bloke is funny and a nice guy, definitely a winner.” Others were divided as somebody said: “Can see him getting pushed away in the background after they shut the door in the back, poor cameraman will get the sack.” “It must have been a lot better live in the theatre, I thought it was a bang average card trick with a lot of distraction antics,” another wrote, while a third said: “Was a good visual trick but I found it lacking somewhat and a bit disappointing personally.”
