Privacy Notice Alesha Dixon’s outfit was the talk of the night at the BGT semi-finals, stealing the spotlight usually reserved for Amanda Holden’s daring ensembles. The Britain’s Got Talent judge dazzled viewers in a vibrant top paired with a near-identical purple blazer on on Thursday 30 May, drawing comparisons to the iconic Quality Street chocolates. Hungry fans took to Twitter, with one declaring: “I could eat Alesha Dixon right now…” accompanied by a photo of a purple Quality Street sweet. Meanwhile, another viewer had beverages on the brain, comparing her look to a Blackcurrant Ribena bottle, known for its distinctive purple packaging. “Alesha’s just finished filming a Ribena advert #bgt,” they joked. Yet another fan playfully brought Amanda into the mix, who was wearing a lightly shimmering gold dress.

They joked: “Alesha impersonating Willy Wonka and Amanda impersonating the golden ticket #britainsgottalent #bgt.” One follower even suggested Alesha resembled “the spoilt one” Violet Beauregarde from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, reports the Express. Laughing, one fan wondered if Alesha had borrowed an outfit from the troll group that hilariously covered Simon’s face with foam during a recent performance. Another tongue in cheek comment asked why she appeared to be dressed like children’s cartoon character Barney.

However, despite all the playful banter it was clear most viewers thought the judge looked absolutely “stunning”. They were just as wowed by the designer Jacquemus dress she donned earlier this week, which boasts a price tag of over £2500. The number was adorned with dainty silver sequined flowers that had fans absolutely mesmerised. The ex-Mis-Teeq songstress, 45, also revealed during the show that she will be performing during the Britain’s Got Talent semi final on Friday 31 May that will feature the last group of acts vying for a place in the final on Sunday, 2 June. There will be a total of 10 acts competing for the grand prize on that night, which includes a £250,000 cash prize and the chance to perform in front of the Royal Family at the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall in November. In other fashion news, Amanda Holden turned heads on Wednesday night with her all-pink look, featuring a tiny pink dress and an extravagant sweeping train, that drew comparisons with Barbie leading lady Margot Robbie’s costumes from the hit movie. Simon Cowell, sticking to his classic all-black attire, wasn’t spared by social media, with one sharp-tongued tweeter likening him to a “refuse collector”.
