The incident occurred on Saturday morning (July 20), when Thommy tragically fell from the second-floor balcony of his apartment in Cuiaba, the capital of Mato Grosso state. Police confirmed that surveillance footage showed the actor sitting on the balcony before he met his untimely death. In a heartbreaking sequence of events captured on camera, Thommy was seen lying down on the floor before getting up, only to lose his balance and topple over the edge. Earlier that evening, the star had been out drinking with friends at a local store before heading back to his residence. Thommy, who played the beloved character Joao Zoinho in Pantanal’s second series, was discovered face down without any visible injuries. His devastated father, Horacio Ramos, has since shared his profound grief.

Speaking to TV Frontiera, his father shared: “It’s a painful moment, it hurts so much that there’s no way to explain it. We spoke every day, every day it was ‘good morning, good afternoon’, he would call me for anything, I would call him for anything.” Horacio continued to praise his son, saying: “He was such a dear person. Thommy was a fantastic person, loved by everyone. The people at Globo are all in shock there. He is a very loved person at Globo. He went there and won over the people, with his simple, humble way. Loved by everyone.” According to Horacio, Thommy had just completed filming a new television project when the tragic news was relayed to his brother-in-law by the actor’s friends, reports the Daily Star. The late celebrity’s social media page was flooded with heartfelt tributes and condolence messages after the sad news broke. One mourner shared: “Rest in peace, my friend! I found you those days itself, I was happy, with pretty cool plans… God Got You ! !”.
