Privacy NoticeTOWIE star Amber Turner has shared snaps of her Dubai holiday at the upmarket Atlantis The Royal, one of the newest hotels to open in the luxury resort. The Royal is part of the large Atlantis development popular with celebrities that boasts a water park, celebrity chef dining and a private beach club. Amber’s photos included a look at the striking exterior of The Royal and a feature that looked even more impressive – a tap dispensing melted chocolate to dip nearby fruit and marshmallows into. She also included snaps of one of the bars at the Royal, the restaurant Nobu by the beach, and another of her entering Atlantis Dubai’s water park, Aquaventure World, which features water slides, water sports and animal encounters with seals and dolphins. Amber is there currently celebrating her 31st birthday, but has spent a lot of time in Dubai filming scenes for The Only Way Is Essex in recent months. Among the friends wishing her a happy day was Wendy Edgar, the mother of Amber’s ex, Dan Edgar. Wendy posted a snap to her Instagram Stories in tribute to Amber’s birthday. “Happy birthday @amberturnerx hope you have a lovely birthday,” she captioned the two selfies. It’s a lovely message to Amber, who dated co-star Dan Edgar for six years, but the two separated last May.

In her Instagram statement about the split, Amber wrote: “I wasn’t going to post anything but due to speculations & questions, I feel like I need to. Yes, me and Dan have split. I honestly wish him the best for the future. Please respect our privacy at this time. Thank you.” Earlier this year, Amber opened up about a health scare she believes was caused by her stint on Channel 4’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The reality TV star has shared that she first noticed a lump in her breast while filming for TOWIE in Bali, and immediately began worrying that it could be cancer. Thankfully, her fears did not come true and after a swift visit to a doctor, she was told that a ruptured breast implant had leaked silicone into her lymph nodes. She believes that the rupture could have been caused by one of several brawls she had with her SAS co-stars, including series winner Gareth Gates. Amber told The Sun in April: “I only had these [implants] for a couple of years and I will need to get the implants changed. They are not meant to rupture. The only thing I can think of is that I did SAS and maybe I was grappling with someone or maybe when I had a fight with someone. I had a fight with Gareth [Gates].
