Privacy Notice Tommy Fury has opened up on why he and Molly-Mae Hague called it quits, adamantly denying any infidelity. The 25 year old boxing star still refers to fellow 25 year old social media sensation Molly as his ‘dream girl’, promising to ‘love her until my final breath’. The pair, who first crossed paths on Love Island in 2019, didn’t clinch the top spot but have been hailed as the most successful couple to emerge from the ITV show. In January of the previous year, they welcomed their first bundle of joy, a little girl named Bambi, into the world and got engaged atop a cliff in Ibiza with Bambi playing a part in the heartwarming proposal. However, in a shocking turn of events, Molly-Mae announced in August that she and Tommy had parted ways. Rumours swirled at the time that Tommy’s alleged infidelity was the cause of the split but in his first chat since the breakup, he’s refuted these claims and is keen to set the record straight before his autobiography which touches on the split hits the shelves next week.

He stated: “All the allegations that were made of me recently are completely false. The truth will come out in time and when it does, I think a lot of people might regret their actions and unkind words. The whole world will I reckon”, reports the Mirror. In a candid chat with the Daily Mail, Tommy disclosed: “What the public think is going on isn’t what is going on. It’s not something I envisaged happening, but it didn’t come out of nowhere. It’s a thing that was there previously to all of this happening, but the only people who know what is going on in our relationship is me and Molly.” Tommy firmly denied any infidelity, stating: “Absolutely not. I think if you were going to cheat on someone you should just sit down and say, ‘I don’t love you any more,’ clearly, because you want to go and pursue other people. When you get to that stage, you should just call it a day. If you want to go out there and have affairs with women then you definitely shouldn’t be with your partner. Definitely not. And have I ever reached that point? No.”

He also expressed his unwavering commitment, mentioning he’s never felt the urge to stray and praising Molly as the ‘perfect woman’ and ‘perfect mother’. On the topic of reconciliation, Tommy is optimistic, believing that things ‘will work themselves out’ and affirming his desire for their family to reunite. Molly-Mae, while keeping the reasons for their split private, took to Instagram to express her gratitude for their daughter amidst the breakup, telling followers: “Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.” Molly-Mae shared a heartfelt message with her fans, expressing her deep gratitude: “I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority. I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all. Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I’ll be back when it feels right.
