Privacy NoticeJosie Gibson and Craig Doyle presented Friday’s episode of This Morning, where they had a catch-up on the iconic blue sofa with Lucien Laviscount. The Emily in Paris star is gearing up to slip back into the role of cheeky chappy Alfie next week. Chatting about his character, Craig couldn’t help pointing out: “I expected you to sound like him,” which got a laugh from Lucien as he confessed, “Oh no, I’m from Burnley. I feel like I let people down when I talk. I’m like, ‘Alright mate, you alright? ‘ and they’re like, ‘nah, it can’t be him.'” Cozying up for a bit more banter, Craig was keen to hear a slice of Lucien’s Alfie impression, egging him on with, “Give us a bit of Alfie, can you give us a bit of Alfie from London.” Lucien thenslipped into his Cockney accent effortlessly.

Josie was clearly swept off her feet by the change in accent, blurting out, “Cor, that has done something to me there,” while a tickled Lucien witnessed Josie try to gather her composure. Craig teasingly suggested getting someone to read Josie’s mind, but she quickly countered, “I wouldn’t, I wouldn’t.” Josie had to say sorry, even as Lucien joked, “See the Burnley just doesn’t have the same affect.” But Josie reassured him with a smile, “It does but that was something else.” Alfie may have parted ways with Emily in the dramatic close of season three, but Lucien revealed his return to the show, ready to support Emily as she navigates life in Paris, even hinting at new romantic tangles in store for his character, reports the Mirror.

The episode of This Morning took an unexpected turn when Josie Gibson brought the show to a standstill just minutes in, following viewer complaints about the “worst start” to the programme. The morning kicked off with Josie and co-host Craig Doyle getting into the groove with 90s hits, alongside guests Tim Campbell and Gyles Brandreth. However, when Craig’s playlist hit Nirvana’s iconic ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’, he began to energetically jump around, leaving Josie less than thrilled. She stopped the show, exclaiming: “No, oh no, it is too much for me.” Viewers quickly took to social media to voice their opinions, with one tweeting: “Is this the worst opening segment to a This Morning episode in history? ” Another disgruntled fan wrote: “#ThisMorning Worst start to a show ever.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
