Privacy NoticeThis Morning’s Sian Welby has opened up about the dramatic ‘jail break’ to free her dad from hospital post his health diagnosis. Chatting to Naked Attraction’s Anna Richardson on the podcast It Can’t Just Be Me, Sian delved into navigating life with a loved one affected by dementia. Similarly, Anna recently spoke about handling her father Jim’s battle with vascular dementia. Sian didn’t hesitate to laud the NHS and their exceptional care during her father’s treatment, admitting: “I don’t want to knock anything because I do love and cherish our NHS and I’m so grateful there’s so much stuff we do get for free and the care that’s offered.”

Meanwhile, Anna disclosed her own startling health revelations, confessing her struggle to accept infertility after experiencing a miscarriage, an ectopic pregnancy, and her eventual menopause. In an intimate conversation with Closer magazine, Anna confided: “It was a real shock. I came to terms with it, but then you go through the menopause and your periods stop, there’s this kind of realisation that you can’t have kids anyway.” She commented on the poignant end of her reproductive journey, expressing, “There’s something sad about the end of the journey, but just because you haven’t had your biological children, it doesn’t mean you can’t be a mother”, reports the Express.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
