After a beloved Liverpool library and community centre was set ablaze, Alex didn’t stand idly by; she spearheaded a campaign that amassed an incredible £200,000 for repairs. Yet, in the midst of the interview, Craig smoothly changed the subject, revealing: “We’re celebrating the feel-good on This Morning today, Alex, we’re celebrating a real feel-good this weekend. A little birdy tells me you’re getting married in a couple of days, is this right?” reports the Mirror. Alex bashfully confirmed her upcoming wedding on Sunday, saying: “Yes, I am on Sunday!”

Josie was amazed at Alex’s dedication to her community fundraising, especially so near her special day. She expressed her surprise: “You’ve got all this to sort out before your wedding on Sunday?! Sorry, this has happened at this time for you.” But Alex remained unworried, responding: “No, you know what, luckily the wedding was nice and organised anyway. “This has been a really nice, positive week in the run-up to the wedding, seeing how communities come together, I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Josie emphasised the power of unity in tough times, telling Craig: “When we come together, we make great things happen!” In a sweet moment, Craig sent his best wishes to Alex for her upcoming Sunday wedding, saying: “Have a great day!” ITV viewers have been enjoying Josie and Craig’s dynamic as they fill in for Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, who are currently on their summer break.

Although viewers have been thrilled with the pairing, many are calling for them to become permanent hosts.
