Charlotte Berman, who became a firm favourite on The Traitors’ finale last Friday, has her sights set on a fresh challenge – though she’s swapping her crafty fake Welsh accent for an Aussie twang! The 33-year-old was the final Traitor left in Friday’s tense showdown, where Alexander Dragonetti, Francesca Rowan-Plowden, Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley made it to the last roundtable. Frankie claimed the power of The Seer and outed Charlotte, leading to her dramatic banishment. Despite the setback in the UK series, Charlotte’s already chasing after a spot on The Traitors Australia, with her audition tape leaving Frankie – and us – totally tickled. Chatting with Digital Spy, Charlotte didn’t hesitate to give us a glimpse of her Australian accent: “Hi, I’m Charlotte. I’m a Faithful. I absolutely love playing The Traitors. Sign me up for season four Australia, I’ll be there in a heartbeat!”

Frankie couldn’t help giggling away, quipping: “Can you cry in Australian?” Charlotte shot back: “I’ll give it my all if you just get me on a plane to Sydney.” The fans are loving every second of Charlotte’s impromptu showcase, with one commenting excitedly: “Go Charlotte! ! Let’s hear the Australian accent!” Another chimed in with approval: “Bonzer, Charlotte!” reports the Mirror. Fans are showering Charlotte with praise for her incredible talent for mimicry, as one admirer gushed on social media: “Charlotte you are phenomenal at accents! ! ! Spot on Australian.”

It doesn’t stop there; another fan is keen to see her show off her skills stateside, urging: “I’m SCREAMING. This is SO good. We need an American accent next! ! !” Starting the game as a loyal Faithful, Charlotte’s path took a dramatic turn when she was pulled into the Traitors’ fold by Minah Shannon – a move that spelled doom for Minah in the fiery pits of the competition. Despite aiding in the ousting of both Minah and the new Traitor Freddie Fraser, some fans suggest Charlotte might have blundered by flouting a cardinal rule of the game. A spectator pointed out their concern online, noting: “I feel like Charlotte is just breaking the Traitors oath mentioning her fellow Traitors at every given opportunity she gets,” adding, “Surely that’s against the rules so for that reason I hope she doesn’t win #TheTraitors.” At the heart of the controversy is the sacred Traitors oath, which enjoins the freshly anointed Traitors to pledge thusly: “Do you commit to lie and deceive throughout the game? Are you willing to murder your fellow players every single night? And do you vow to keep your identity and the identity of your fellow players a secret?”
