Video messages poured in from stars like Dame Joanna Lumley, Paul Hollywood, Andi Oliver, and Don Warrington. Even Mary’s husband Paul chimed in with an adorable message for his wife, reports the Mirror. Adding royal sparkle to the occasion, Prince William sent a special message, expressing how much he has “loved” working with the “national treasure” over the years. Strictly Come Dancing star Claudia Winkleman then dazzled everyone by popping up on the green sofa, sharing why collaborating with Mary was a “career highlight” for her. Claudia reminisced about Mary’s impact, revealing: “My sister used to make me a cheesecake and it was always your recipe, and that’s how we knew about Mary. My son is obsessed, all of us, and if we ever want to cook anything, we just get one of Mary’s books.” The nostalgia continued as Mary was joined by her former GBBO pals Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, who shared fond memories from their time under the iconic tent.

Fans were quick to express their astonishment at Mary’s youthful appearance on X (formerly Twitter), with comments flooding in like: “Mary Berry looking absolutely fabulous.” Others chimed in with praises such as: “Mary looks better now than she did when she was younger,” and, “Love Mary Berry. Such a lovely lady, looks grand at 90.” Admiration continued to pour in as another fan remarked, “She looks incredible, love her,” and yet another was astounded, saying: “I’m amazed Dame Mary is 90 and her husband is 93.” The One Show airs weekdays at 7pm on BBC One
