Privacy Notice Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page are totally chill about the Strictly Come Dancing curse rumours. The 26 year old star, who’s strutting her stuff on the latest series of the BBC dance extravaganza, has shrugged off any worries about her romance hitting the rocks like some past contestants. She’s all confidence when it comes to her relationship with her beau, whom she met on Love Island a couple of years back, declaring he’s the “hottest man on this whole planet”. Opening up to The Sun, Tasha couldn’t help but rave: “Andrew, to me, is the hottest man on this whole planet.” She continued, eyes full of love: “I look at him and I’m like: ‘Yeah, that’s my man! ‘ Me and Andrew trust each other 100 per cent.”

She’s convinced their bond is unshakeable – they already share a home together, adding: “It’s not a make-or-break for us. We’re going to breeze through this because we’re going to marry each other one day, you know?” The idea of the so-called ‘Strictly curse’ doesn’t even make them flinch. She explained: “It doesn’t bother us at all. We didn’t have a discussion about ‘the Strictly curse’ because we trust each other.” And it’s not something that’s playing on their minds in the slightest. Plus, Andrew’s already given the thumbs up to Tasha’s dance partner, Aljaz Skorjanec. She shared a cute tidbit: “He has no worries at all. If anything, he was super-happy and could see the great partnership we had. He came to rehearsals the other day and watched for a little bit.”

There’s been some fun behind the scenes too: “Aljaz taught Andrew some dance moves, which was funny.” And it seems there’s nothing but love all around, as Tasha revealed: “Aljaz is so happy with his wife [Janette Manrara] and we went on a double date last night, and had a lovely dinner with their beautiful daughter, Lyra. Andrew’s been so supportive through it all.” Tasha, who was born deaf and received a cochlear implant at the age of five, is determined to be a role model for other young girls facing similar challenges. Opening up about her reasons for joining ‘Strictly’, she shared: “I’m doing ‘Strictly’ because it’s been my biggest dream. It’s genuinely been a goal for years, even more than Love Island.” She added with enthusiasm, “I watch it and I’m like, ‘I want to be on that dance floor one day.’ And I’m doing it for representation.” Her motivation is clear as she said, “I want to inspire younger Tashas out there who struggle with confidence and self-love.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
