Chatting exclusively at the British Diversity Awards, the Strictly star shared her excitement about embarking on the “next chapter” of her life after parting ways with Andrew. The pair, who became an item during Love Island 2022 and even celebrated two years together—complete with a furry addition called Luna and a joint Instagram account for their home makeover adventures—left fans stunned when they announced their breakup earlier this year. Although Tasha and Andrew have remained tight-lipped about their split, Tasha recently gave followers a glimpse into her life post-Andrew with a peek at her new pad. “It’s a new chapter,” she reveals. “It’s a new beginning and it’s all about embracing that and that’s what life is about.” Apart from moving homes, Tasha’s next steps include publishing her book titled “SuperPower”. Sharing details about her literary venture, she expressed her desire to inspire and support others dealing with disabilities. Speaking exclusivley about the tone of her upcoming book, Tasha explains: “It’s a long process, but it’s really about having people out there, in other people to help them find their self-confidence with their disability. So the book is really about showing my experiences, to help others out there, and that’s what I really want to do. So it’s a really real—it cuts to the chase and no beating around the bush.”

Earlier this week, Tasha set the record straight about her split from Andrew, revealing she was the one to call it quits. The Love Island beauty responded to a fan’s comment on TikTok about her being spotted on the celebrity dating app Raya, saying: “No, I ended the relationship. there was many things behind closed doors.” She also engaged with another fan who praised the former couple for not speaking ill of each other, to which Tasha replied: “Always will still care for him! ! Exactly you said we’re on good terms and don’t hate each other x.” When a follower suggested that Andrew had lost their shared dog in the breakup, Tasha clarified the situation, stating: “Incorrect he gave her to me cause he’s in Guernsey and we’re sharing her. We’re both still on good terms.”

Tasha also cleared up some misconceptions following her split with Andrew, particularly addressing the backlash she received online for allegedly “taking” their dog, Luna. In a Snapchat post, Tasha wrote: “Since there’s so many horrible messages I’ve got about taking Luna off Andrew – first off, she is our dog who we got together. He is in Guernsey and decided to leave Luna here with me as he couldn’t take her, it wasn’t ideal. When he’s found a place back in the UK, we will be working out a way for both of us to see her.” She admitted that she “didn’t want to comment on this” but felt compelled to respond after receiving messages calling her “a horrible person, scum, etc,” The Love Island alumna then added: “No-one knows what went on in our relationship behind closed doors. Don’t believe every headline you read in the press. Break-ups happen in life. Just because ours is in the ‘public eye’ doesn’t make it any different.”
