Privacy Notice Strictly Come Dancing star Jowita Przystal has broken her silence amid romance rumours with her celebrity dance partner Pete Wicks. The professional dancer confessed they had “very good chemistry together”, before making their relationship very clear. Since Jowita, 30, and Pete, 36, were partnered together for this year’s Strictly, they’ve been showcasing their close bond, both on and off the dancefloor. From the pro dancer appearing on Pete’s podcast Staying Relevant, which he hosts alongside best pal Sam Thompson, to the pair reportedly looking cosy at a drinks party. The undeniable connection has sparked rumours of a blossoming romance, with both seemingly single. However, while attending the Pride of Britain Awards on Monday, 21 October, Jowita finally addressed the rumours and reiterated just how close they are.

Speaking exclusively to OK! from the Pride of Britain Awards red carpet about the swirling rumours, Jowita said: “We have very good chemistry together as friends, we really get on well with each other, and we have so much fun together. And dancing is a bit like acting, so we’re telling a story every night on Saturday night, and I think we’re doing a pretty good job with that so…” She added: “But we’re very good friends, and I love him so much as a brother, and I think we’re going to stay friends for life, to be honest.” When talking about friendship, Jowita couldn’t help but tell us that Pete’s best friend, Sam Thompson, is her “favourite.” She quipped: “Don’t tell Pete, but Sam is my favourite, I honestly love it when he comes round to the rehearsal room, he’s such a ray of sunshine. “I always welcome him in, I absolutely adore this man, and I think him and Pete have such a beautiful relationship, their friendship is above and beyond. To have him and to have his support, he literally supports Pete all the way, so it’s just so lovely to see that.
