Privacy NoticeStrictly Come Dancing’s Graziano Di Prima is reportedly planning to leave the UK and relocate to Italy following his dismissal from the popular dance show. The 30 year old Italian dancer has faced allegations related to misconduct during his time on the most recent series during practice sessions with partner Zara McDermott. Disturbing backstage footage allegedly left production staff in tears, leading to Graziano’s termination just hours after BBC executives viewed the clips. It has been claimed Zara was not the individual who made the complaints against Graziano but a member of the production team. According to insiders, Graziano has recently gone into hiding and started packing his belongings to escape the UK. A source told The Sun: “Graziano is petrified and in a bad place.” Sign up to the OK! newsletter to get updates sent to your mailbox for free

The insider also claimed that he is receiving support from his wife Giada as they plan their move back to Italy. His career in the UK has been effectively ended, and he is now looking forward to a “new beginning” in Italy with his wife. Last year, two complaints were allegedly made about Graziano’s alleged behaviour towards Zara during training sessions, but only warnings were issued at the time. However, a source informed The Mirror that BBC executives were unaware of the extent of Graziano’s alleged physical conduct until shocking footage came to light.

Graziano shared a heartfelt statement on Instagram, apologising for his behaviour: “I deeply regret the events that led to my departure from Strictly. My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime.” “Respecting the BBC HR process, I understand it’s best for the show that I step away.” He added, “While there are aspects of this story involving external influences that I can’t discuss at this time, I remain committed to being strong for my family and friends. I wish the Strictly family and the BBC nothing but success in the future.” To round it off, Graziano said: “I also want to thank everyone who has supported my career, both professionally and personally. When the time is right, I will share my story.” Zara has not yet spoken out on the claims, but she and her boyfriend Sam Thompson have both unfollowed Graziano on Instagram following the allegations. Graziano was announced as part of the 2024 line-up back in May. However, it’s been revealed that his spot has been withdrawn by show bosses. In a statement, the BBC said: “We can confirm that Graziano Di Prima is no longer a part of the line-up of professional dancers for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing. While we would never comment on individual cases, it is well-known that the BBC has established and robust duty of care procedures, and if issues are raised we will always take them seriously and act swiftly as appropriate.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
