The Strictly Come Dancing judge shared a sweet snap of his mother to mark her 83rd birthday, with fans rushing to the comments to express their envy at her ageless appearance. In the snap, Craig’s beloved mum, Beverley, could be seen beaming from ear to ear as she sat on a garden chair and posed for the pic. In the photo Beverley wore a blue jumper and statement silver necklace, with Craig, 59, paying tribute to his “gorgeous” mother.

“Happy 83rd birthday to my gorgeous mother @bjlady_liberty (Beverley Horwood) who is busy celebrating her birthday across the world in style. I hope you’re all having a Fab-u-lous time. X x,” he captioned the photo. In response, Craig’s followers rushed to the comments section where they shared birthday messages for Beverley and also gushed over her youthful appearance. “That’s impossible I want whatever she’s having happy birthday to your beautiful mum,” wrote one.

Wow What a stunner,” said another. Meanwhile, Strictly Come Dancing stars including Janette Manrara, Shirley Ballas and Dianne Buswell all wished Craig’s mum a happy birthday too. The birthday tribute comes after Saturday, 19 October’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing in which he labelled Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal’s Rumba as being “illegal”. He added: “There were two lifts. One foot should remain on the floor at all times. Of course, a professional would be marked down for that. I think even a disqualification darling, because I think you should follow the rules.” However, in response his fellow judge Motsi Mabuse assured them that there would be no disqualification. On a more positive note, Craig praised Pete’s dedication to the competition. “I do like seeing how committed you are to this.
