Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans is putting on a brave face after injuring himself during the live tour. The opera singer and radio presenter gave fans a glimpse of his injury by posting a snap of his swollen ankle on Instagram Stories, captioning it with a touch of humour: “Turned my ankle last night in the show but I’m being a brave soldier.” This mishap follows the cancellation of Friday’s show due to severe weather conditions battering the UK as a result of Storm Eowyn. Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood addressed fans directly via his own Instagram story, sharing a crucial update about the disrupted schedule.

He said: “Sadly, due to the red weather warning in place tomorrow, the Friday evening performance of Strictly Come Dancing The Live Tour will be rescheduled to Sunday evening, 26 January. Doors will open at 17.30 and the performance will start at 18.30. Original tickets remain valid for this show. If guests are unable to attend, they should contact their point of purchase for a refund. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.” The red weather alert, which raised concerns over life-threatening gales, was specifically issued for Scotland from 10am to 5pm, reports the Mirror. All trains and buses in the city have also been cancelled, causing potential travel woes for fans heading to Glasgow’s OVO Hydro. The venue’s team took to their official X page echoing Craig’s statement, writing: “Sadly, due to the red weather warning in place tomorrow, the Friday evening performance of Strictly Come Dancing The Live Tour will be rescheduled to Sunday evening, 26 January. Doors will open at 17.30 and the performance will start at 18.30.”

He divulged: “It’s fun, you know, it’s just real fun, it’s absolute entertainment. Craig [who is a judge] is as rude as ever. He called me right, yesterday, he said that I was stompy and flat footed. Right?”. He continued with a cheeky retort: “So I said: ‘Have you heard your album, mate, that’s stompy and flat if ever I’ve heard it!’ So yeah, there’s quite a bit of banter and he gave me a two yesterday, so I was absolutely gutted, just because I was a bit rude about his album!”
