Privacy NoticeDancing On Ice is set to welcome a new celebrity to its sparkling line-up for the 2025 series, with reports swirling that Chelsee Healey has laced up her skates for the challenge. The beloved ITV show is gearing up for a dazzling return early next year, and while we’re all on tenterhooks for the official cast reveal, whispers suggest that Hollyoaks favourite and former Strictly sensation Chelsee, 36, is ready to glide into the spotlight. Best known for her role as the feisty Goldie McQueen in the Channel 4 drama since 2016, Chelsee has also won hearts as Janeece Bryant in Waterloo Road and Honey Wright in Casualty. Not just a talented actress, she twirled her way to second place on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2011.

This news follows hot on the heels of rumours that reality star Ferne McCann was the first celeb to join the frosty fray this January. A source spilled the beans to The Sun, saying: “Chlesee is absolutely hilarious and of course incredibly glamorous. She made it to the final of Strictly back in 2011 so there are high hopes that she will once again wow viewers with her dance moves. “Bosses are determined to get a sexy female line up especially given the lack of women on Strictly this year and Chelsee is one of the hottest soap stars out there. Everyone is very excited to have her on board,” reports the Mirror. A source added, “Chelsee can’t wait to take to the ice. Strictly was so long ago and this time there’s the added danger of performing on ice. She knows it’s going to be tough but she’s really excited to get out there. It’s also something her young daughter Coco can share with her, the whole family are so excited.”

A spokesperson for ITV told OK!: “The line up for Dancing on Ice 2025 will be announced in due course.” OK! has reached out to Chelsee Healey’s representatives for comment. Dancing on Ice sparked joy among fans after some niggling doubts about whether the beloved ice extravaganza would return. They confirmed the fantastic news live during the ice-tastic final of the latest series. Holly Willoughby and sidekick Stephen Mulhern took a moment during the show’s finale to give a heartfelt shout-out to everyone who had contributed to this series and all its loyal viewers. Holly wrapped up the series saying: “That is it for this series. Thank you to all of our couples for taking part.” She then showed love for commentator Sam Matterface, head coach Karen Barber and creative director Dan Whiston. To top off her thank-yous, she showered praise on the latest series’ judging panel, featuring the likes of Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, and ice legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, who have been with the show since it first dazzled us. Stephen expressed his gratitude with a shout-out to the audience: “And a big thanks to you for watching and voting. We are back next year with the brand new class of 2025.” As the latest series wrapped up, he added, “Do not miss it!
