Privacy NoticeStrictly Come Dancing fans have branded Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał – who have been getting close since beginning the competition together – the ‘fittest couple ever’ after they put on a passionate performance during their second live performance on the show this weekend. The duo performed an American Smooth on the show, with Pete pulling Jowita in close with their lips just millimetres apart, before ending the dance by leaning in for a kiss before the stage lights cut out. And following the performance, some fans are convinced the pair actually kissed, while others are hoping for a romance between the pair.

After weeks of romance rumours, it seems the Strictly judging panel even noticed their chemistry, as judge Motsi Mabuse said after their performance: “I think both of you, you had such a beautiful, flirty, romantic atmosphere, and I believed it was authentic”. While viewers took to X to share their joy at the pairing, as one wrote: “Pete Wicks and Jowita would be the FITTEST couple ever, just saying #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly”, while another said: “Jowita and pete make me feral i need them to get to the final so i can keep watching them almost kiss #strictly”. Predicating that love is already in the air, a third fan tweeted: “Pete and Jowita are deffo getting it on js, I ship it tho, she brings out his soft side,” while another insinuated that kissing did take place, sharing: “Obsessed with pete just walking around for two minutes and kissing jowita a few times #Strictly”. The passionate moment comes after Pete’s best pal Sam Thompson cheekily suggested the star might be head over heels for Jowita, before swiftly taking it back. The Made in Chelsea star has been cheering on Pete from the audience as he takes on the competition, and was there to support him during his debut live show last Saturday. However, when pressed about Pete’s rapport with his pro dancer, Sam hinted at a special bond. Chatting with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on This Morning last Friday, Sam dished on his mate’s connection with 30 year old Jowita. When grilled, he blurted out: “I think they are in love,” but then quickly clarified that he reckons their bond is just friendly. Yet, continuing to stir the pot, Sam added: “He cares about her so much, the way he looks at her, I’ve never seen it before.
