Privacy Notice She left in 2022, but Oti Mabuse is storming back to Strictly Come Dancing, she revealed today. The show favourite, who was a pro dancer on the show and won it twice with Kelvin Fletcher and Bill Bailey, bowed out after seven years. The 34-year-old went on to be a panellist on several of TV’s other celebrity-based dance series, including ITV’s The Masked Dancer and Dancing on Ice. Speaking on This Morning today Oti explained she was returning to lend a hand with the show’s choreography, saying: “I feel like I never left.”

She told hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary: “I choreograph, I feel like I never left. It’s different because when you’re a pro, you have about a week to prepare. “You’re also working with someone who has never danced before. You have to be very mindful and create something that works for them.” Oti added: “”When you go back as a choreographer, you’re working with a team of incredible professional dancers who also want to push and make the show really brilliant. They’re really dedicated at that and they’re amazing, so you have to give them a lot, you have to challenge them!” The star also recently launched her own dance show called Viva Carnival, which she will tour around UK cities in June next year. She told fans: “It’s going to be a full-on celebration of movement, culture, and life, and I cannot wait for you to experience it.” Sign up to OK!’s daily newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for freeStory SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
