Privacy NoticeStrictly Come Dancing’s head judge Shirley Ballas has taken to Instagram to share a mysterious video about those who have ‘betrayed’ her. The 64 year old dance expert posted a motivational quote on her Instagram Stories, originally from TikTok. The video showcased an AI voice narrating the quote over clips of nature and animals. The voice stated: “The problem is what people say about me doesn’t affect me. I’m the only one who knows my journey – only I know what I’ve been through. We’re here to be happy, not to please everyone. Besides those I love and who love me, the opinions of others don’t matter to me. I have too much to do to waste time hating those who hate me or who have betrayed me. People will always talk, believe what they want, and think what they want.” The video went on to say: “But frankly I don’t care. I’ve helped people who then betrayed me, wiped the tears of those who made me cry and supported those who tried to bring me down. Now I no longer waste my time arguing or getting angry with those who poison my life. I simply walk away. For me, true wealth is expecting nothing from others. True freedom is owing nothing to anyone,” reports the Mirror.

Shirley is currently the head judge for the 20th anniversary edition of Strictly Come Dancing. This season features a star-studded line-up including Chris McCausland, Nick Knowles, Tasha Ghouri, Pete Wicks and more, all vying for the coveted glitterball trophy on the popular BBC dance competition.

Pete “has chemistry” with dance partner Jowita Przystal

Shirley recently got candid about the famed Strictly curse and hinted at unmistakable “chemistry” within one particular couple. She dished, “I think you’ll guess who’s got the chemistry going on. And that’s what makes their performance kind of special. We won’t mention any names, but there’s always some chemistry going on, you know. It makes the world go around.” She kept it mysterious and didn’t drop any names, but not long ago she had quite the saucy insight about TOWIE lad Pete, 35, alongside his professional partner Jowita Przystal, 30, after they brought the heat to the dance floor with their electric connection. Just last week, Shirley called their spark “too hot to handle”. The rumour mill’s churning as fans suspect Pete’s has feelings for Jowita, leaving his mate Sam Thompson feeling like he’s third-wheeling. Even Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood has thrown in his two pence on the romance buzz as he confessed: “There is a lot of giggling going on and chumminess with Pete and Jowita.” Speaking to Best magazine, he added: “It’s probably due to the fact he’s a bit of a card – he’s very funny. Their chemistry will make for some fab-u-lous dances I’m sure of it!”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
