It comes after some glowing feedback from judges and a one-word statement from Claudia Winkleman. The beloved BBC dance show Strictly has kicked off its dazzling 2024 series with hosts Tess Daly and Claudia ready to lead us through another round of impressive moves as 15 celebrity pairs set their eyes on the Glitterball trophy. This season features crowd-pleaser Aljaz Skorjanec making a grand return to the Strictly family, dancing alongside Love Island star Tasha Ghouri. Their mesmerizing Cha Cha to Sabrina Carpenter’s hit Espresso left head judge Shirley Ballas utterly spellbound. After absorbing Shirley’s glowing remarks, the judge predicted Tasha’s success: “You’re on your way to have one of the most spectacular leg actions I think I have ever seen on the show.” Claudia was visibly amazed by the performance, her ‘extraordinary’ on-screen response sent viewers into overdrive, proclaiming Tasha is destined for the glitterball glory, reports the Daily Star. Fans swarmed to social media to share their predictions and were overwhelmed with praise for Tasha’s outstanding premiere performance. One admirer exclaimed: “I loved Tasha. What a dance! ! ! ! #Strictly.” Another, emphatically put it: “Tasha is SENSATIONAL #Strictly”, while someone else declared: “Tasha Ghouri was absolutely incredible on strictly, she is sooooo good #Strictly.”

While the judges will give their feedback and score the celebs, no one will be leaving in the first week. The real drama kicks off in week two when one star will be shown the door. The public can have their say when the lines open next Saturday (28 September), with the first elimination of the series airing the following night (Sunday, 29 September). Other celebs topping the betting odds are X Factor champ Shayne Ward and JLS heartthrob JB Gill. However, ex-pro dancer Erin Boag has tipped Miranda’s Sarah Hadland as a potential dark horse for this year’s show.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
