Privacy NoticeStacey Solomon is known for her love of animals, and as she hugged one of her ducks on Saturday 12 October, the Sort Your Life Out star revealed that soon she and her family will be playing host to more animal friends at Pickle Cottage, this time of the furry and four-footed variety. After sharing a clip of daughter Rose with one of the family ducks, Stacey showed that outside the duck run is ‘mini Pickle Cottage,’ a wooden playhouse in the garden that she now has plans for. “Soon I’m going to be working on Mini Pickle Cottage,” she explained, “which is literally next to the duck pond, because I am going to fence around it so the ducks have a really big area and then make the cottage a rabbit rescue in there because the animal sanctuary down the road says that they need more space for rabbits because so many rabbits need rescuing at the moment, so we’re going to make Mini Pickle Cottage into a rabbit rescue!”

Stacey often shares clips of life at her home, and her various DIY craft projects about the place, as well as photos and videos of her family, including husband Joe Swash and children Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose and Belle, and she is set to share even more now that she has signed up for a BBC series about family life at Pickle Cottage that has recently started filming. In an exclusive interview with OK! in September, the reality star revealed there are some moments she would never share with her millions of followers or a TV audience, however, and that’s her children’s tantrums. “I get asked a lot on Instagram [about tough times with the kids]. People will say, ‘Your kids always look so happy and are never throwing tantrums.’ But for me, I just don’t feel that is information I should ever be putting out there about my kids – everyone has good days and bad days. I would much rather them look back at our lives, and all that we’ve made public are happy memories. I don’t want them to look back and be like, ‘Wow, I was having such a bad day then.’” She added: “I think about my childhood and my dad always had a video camera, so I’ve got amazing memories and clips of my growing up. There are so many happy moments. He never filmed me having a paddy in the middle of Asda!”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
