Privacy NoticeTV presenter and journalist Stacey Dooley captured the nineties Oasis style today as she shared a photo from what appeared to be a fitting room, in which she was wearing an outfit she described as “inspired by Liam, specifically”. In the picture, she was wearing trainers, bright blue tracksuit bottoms and a pale yellow zipped-up anorak, as well as dark sunglasses. She captioned the photo with the words: “It’s giving Oasis tkts are on sale etc etc.” Stacey, who won Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, didn’t disclose whether she had bought tickets for the Oasis reunion tour herself, but some famous fans have admitted they joined the general public in the online queue to buy tickets for Oasis Live ‘25 this morning. Channel 5 newsreader Dan Walker wrote on social media: “There has got to be a fairer, simpler, more efficient way of selling tickets that isn’t so open to touts, scammers, resellers and bots. In the queue, out the queue, refresh/don’t refresh, wait in line, back of the line, accused of being a bot,” while Strictly’s Shirley Ballas replied to Dan on X (formerly Twitter), commenting: “Same here, trying to get for my son and daughter-in-law. Nightmare.”

Meanwhile, just after 11am, BBC presenter Victoria Derbyshire asked: “Has anyone actually managed to get a ticket today yet?” One person who did see the funny side was the anonymous writer who posts on X as Larry the Cat, the feline who lives at 10 Downing Street. The parliamentary cat’s post mused: “The way this is going there will be people who have been in a queue for Oasis tickets for longer than Liz Truss was Prime Minister…” At 7pm, the official Oasis account on X announced that all tickets had been sold to the band’s announced dates in Dublin, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Manchester and London in 2025. “Oasis Live ‘25 UK and Ireland tickets have now SOLD OUT. Please be aware of counterfeit and void tickets appearing on the secondary market. Tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @TicketmasterUK and @Twickets.” The announcement of their tour comes 30 years after the release of their iconic debut album, Definitely Maybe, which featured Noel and Liam on vocals, Noel on lead guitar, Paul “Guigsy” McGuigan on bass guitar, Tony McCarroll on drums and Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs on rhythm guitar. So far, only Liam and Noel have been confirmed for the 2025 tour.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
