Privacy NoticeEmmerdale have aired a massive marriage crisis for two main characters as viewers were left alarmed earlier in the week at one in particular’s behaviours on screen. Fans of the soap have been watching Cain (played by Jeff Hordley)and Moira Dingle (played by Natalie J Robb) having a rough time, especially since Moira has been acting out of sorts. Last week, she collapsed into a seizure in the barn after weeks of unusual actions and on Wednesday’s (August 28) episode she woke up in the barn, still unsure of what happened to her. Pulling up a blanket, she fell back asleep, but soon husband Cain and Isaac set off to find her with neither having any idea what she has been through. The pair genuinely believe she was having a nap. Moira pretended she had been keeping watch over the bull that she’s recently sourced for a client but admitted she wasn’t feeling “very well”. Cain jumped to conclusions and questioned if she had been drinking after her history with alcohol abuse.

The infuriated husband said: ” Your eyes all are bloodshot. What am I supposed to think?” Secretly though, fans watched as Moira toyed with what had really happened, wondering if she had “some virus” or if it was maybe the menopause, before accusing Cain of not being supportive. “I am sorry if I have changed and I am sorry if I’m not what you want, but this is what I am,” she said. Cain disappeared to the Woolpack where Chas was disappointed to hear of her brother’s lack of support and understanding. However, that didn’t stop an angry Cain, who called Moira a “loose cannon with a glint in her eye” confiding in Chas and admitting that he was reaching his ‘breaking point’ in his marriage. Meanwhile, back at the farm, Issac helped Moira after she become wobbly again. Moira slipped into forgetful mode and suggested that they discuss plans for supper when they get back home – to which Isaac replied “we’re already home.” The episode finished off with Chas left stunned after her brother then confessed to thinking of ending his marriage.
