The Cadbury Chocolate House Kit has been a smashing hit this Christmas, with plenty of shoppers leaving five-star reviews for the festive treat. One satisfied customer raved: “This made a perfect Christmas present for anyone who loves chocolate. I was pleasantly surprised with how much chocolate was actually in the set, so definitely value for money.” Another added their praise, saying: “Over the years we have tried countless gingerbread houses which never actually stick together or get eaten. I ordered this and we were all so impressed, it was relatively easy and actually holds together especially when you decorate it.” They continued with delight, “It also got eaten as it’s all bars of Dairy Milk. Looks brilliant and is a good size. Worth a little bit more than a gingerbread house. My kids are 16 to seven and they all helped managed to do it and enjoyed it.” Meanwhile, a third shopper shared: “This was a great Christmas activity with kids. We don’t love gingerbread in our house so this was the perfect alternative as who doesn’t love Cadbury? The Christmas tree bars were a lovely touch. It lasted for a surprisingly long time on the counter before being devoured.” On the flip side, there was a less sweet review among the bunch, as one person gave it three stars commenting: “There was a lot more chocolate than fillings in it. The fillings were very sweet and chemical tasting. Not a fan.” One shopper was thrilled with their festive chocolate purchase, sharing: “I did this with my four-year-old – some fiddly bits I had to do myself but she loved it. And she of course loved licking the bowl of melted chocolate afterwards – such an awesome alternative to a gingerbread house that can be eaten afterwards. Great value for money – really really pleased.” Also on offer on Amazon is Nestlé’s The Big Chocolate Box, packed with 30 full-sized bars of KitKat, KitKat Chunky, Yorkie, Aero and Munchies. It’s currently available at a 17% discount, dropping the price from £22.16 to £18.34. For the ultimate chocoholic in your life, consider the £44 Lindt Classic Hamper, brimming with a whopping 1.3kg of chocolate.
