With so many products on the market, lots of people tend to stick to their tried and true once they’ve found a suitable match. Some buyers say that if you are a fan of Estee Lauder’s iconic Double Wear foundation, you might want to look into a serum foundation from Clinique. The brand’s Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation is a lightweight formula with SPF 20. It has buildable coverage and a 24-hour wear time. It contains skincare ingredients such as Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and salicylic acid to help treat your skin while you’re wearing makeup. Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid work to brighten and hydrate the skin, while salicylic acid targets clogged pores and blemishes. A second reviewer agreed: “The best foundation for oily skin. Better than Estee Lauder Double wear.” Another added: “I was really sceptical about this product as I haven’t heard it talked about by many influencers however, I was drawn in by the quality of the bottle and the fact it has a pump dispenser! “This foundation is light and undetectable on the skin but provides the perfect coverage to cover up any blemishes or dark spots. Highly recommend!! This product is my new holy grail and a total A++.” As with all products, it’s worth noting they don’t all work for everyone. One customer said: “I’ve never disliked anything from Clinique until this. It makes my skin look cakey and dry, and just sits on top of my skin. Never buying this one again. What a waste of money!” If you want to try an alternative brand, Boots sells the Erborian BB Cream with Ginseng for £40.
