Privacy NoticeMarried At First Sight fans were left fuming after Eve Reid was caught spying on Charlie Curtis in her ‘safe space’. The dramatic turn of events unfolded during last night’s episode (Wednesday, 2 October), leaving viewers defending Charlie while branding the Irish contestant a “master manipulator”. When they first met at the altar to say ‘I do’, Eve and Charlie immediately hit it off with sparks flying as they got to know each other. But things took a sudden and fiery turn during their honeymoon when several huge arguments broke out, landing them in tears and seeing them spend nights apart.

Their relationship didn’t improve when they landed back in the UK and Eve refused to move into their new apartment with Charlie, despite both wanting to stay in the experiment. Things between the pair reached a breaking point in Wednesday night’s episode when Charlie revealed that Eve had been listening in on her interview after the first dinner party. In dramatic scenes, Charlie raged at Eve: “You went into my safe space, put your ear against the door in my interview, that you should not have done. You took that upon yourself to do that. “To listen to my interview, after the dinner party, and got your back up because of an action you took.” Eve asked: “What did I say?” Charlie replied: “You sat in that room and you glared at me like I had done the worst thing in the world.” Eve said: “That’s not true.” “You literally listened into my safe space, MY interview. You took that upon yourself to do that,” Charlie furiously responded. Eve denied it, prompting Charlie to frustratingly ask: “Why is it always my fault?! Take some accountability for the mistakes and issues that you’ve made.”

One wrote on Instagram: “Eve is a master manipulator 100%.” A second penned: “Eve was very clever with her little game of let’s blame Charlie for everything.” A third commented: “Eve is a gaslighter sadly, poor Charlie,” while another said: “”Experts let Eve off lightly!!”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
