Privacy Notice Fans of The Prince of Wales and his brother, The Duke of Sussex, have been questioning why William and Harry have not considered making an improvement to their hairstyles. A royal fan on Reddit posed the question: “Is there a reason why balding Prince William and Prince Harry didn’t get hair implants?” and numerous users have joined the discussion, commenting about how both men are visibly losing their hair. One commented specifically about Prince William’s hair, writing: “I was just thinking about this today – I think it is too late, he needed to do it as soon as it started,” while another joked: “I’m choosing to believe you are Kate, and you are innocently asking the worst possible question for when William’s aides come reading here in a couple of hours.” A third added: “I know the Royal Family would have better access to good cosmetic surgeons/hair transplant specialists, but I have a coworker who’s on his 3rd set of hair transplants in 10 years. He gets them, has hair for like a year, they start failing, he wears hats for 2-3 years…repeat x3. And I think that if William was interested in trying transplants, the time to do it was 10 years ago. Now it would just be too obvious and people would never shut up about it.”

On the subject of both brothers’ receding hairlines, another posted a wise response: “I would guess that being watched so closely makes getting something like that more difficult. Just going with genetics and life or only doing something minor probably avoids dealing with another facet of negative press. Plus, I would imagine the upkeep would get to be a lot, especially having to always stay ahead of it. While you’d hope they’d get it done well, it seems that a lot of solutions are obviously easily spotted, which would get them into bad press again.” One royal watcher wondered: “My hot take is that they’d be so concerned about the “Royal DNA” possibly being impacted in some obscure shape or form so they didn’t do it – my realistic take is that they probably either don’t care or have just accepted it like most men in the world have.” Sign up to OK!’s royal newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free
Some royal watchers have wondered if Prince Harry has had a hair transplant

There were many who rose to the Princes’ defence. “Not everyone is vain,” said one, while a second answered the question by saying: “Because there’s nothing wrong with a bald man?” There has been speculation in the past that Prince Harry has had hair transplants, with Gökhan VAYNİ, a Hair Transplant Specialist at Vera Clinic, noting in 2022 that Harry’s hair did look “fuller and thicker.” However, he added: “Ultimately, I suspect Harry has grown out his hair and switched up the products he may be using. Harry has potentially used hair thickening treatments or grown his hair out the last few weeks to gain this thicker hairstyle. Hair supplements can improve the overall thickness of hair. Harry may also have seen a private dermatologist for further medical advice.” Prince William, meanwhile, does not seem to have surgically enhanced the hair on top of his head, but was recently been seen out and about looking more hirsute, sporting facial hair in the form of a stubble-style beard that is a hit with many. One thrilled fan gushed, “William please keep growing that beard!” while another added, “You both look amazing!!!! Love the scruff W!!!”Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK! MagazineFacebookTwitterCommentMore OnPrince HarryPrince William
