Privacy NoticeIt seems wedding bells could be in the air for Roman Kemp, who is rumoured to have proposed to his girlfriend Carmen Gaggero. The One Show host was first linked to the production assistant last month following a Le Petit Maison date in Mayfair. The rumour mill went into overdrive when Carmen was pictured with a conspicuous ring on that finger, though confirmation from the ex-Capital Breakfast presenter has yet to come. A source said to MailOnline: “Roman has popped the question and Carmen said yes. Roman has long wanted to settle down and start a family so it’s such an exciting time for them. He’s been seeing Carmen for a few months now and feels strongly she is the one. Roman’s mum Shirlie is also over the moon and has been telling friends how excited she is for the wedding.”

Self-described as a “TV, Film and Fashion enthusiast” in her biography, Carmen – reportedly hailing from Brighton – has built her career at esteemed companies like Conde Nast and LuckyChap Entertainment. In contrast to her low-key beau, she openly parades their relationship on Instagram, even flaunting Roman’s swanky flat in a recent post. Carmen recently accompanied Roman in rubbing shoulders with royalty; the duo graced Queen Camilla and the Princess of Wales’ presence at the Sovereign’s Creative Industries Garden Party back in May. Prior to his romance with Carmen, Roman had a three-year stint with Anne-Sophie Flury before they parted ways in 2020, reports the Mirror.

Roman, who lives in a cool London flat, has been linked to several women in the past, including his radio colleague Codie Jones and model Jette Kerkoff, although he never publicly confirmed these reports. In an interview on the Diary Of A CEO podcast, Roman revealed that he’s searching for a love like the one his parents, Martin Kemp and Shirlie Kemp, share. He expressed his attraction to women who are driven and busy, saying: “Women that have their life plan and are busier, that attracts me more than anything. You look at the girls I’ve dated in the past, they’re girls that are doing their own thing and they’re f***ing good at it.” Roman also mentioned his preference for dating women who aren’t from England, as he enjoys the anonymity that comes with it. Prior to his relationship with Carmen, Roman expressed his desire to have children, telling Heat magazine: “I’m terrified of not having kids. That is my biggest thing. I even went to have a sperm check when I was 30.
