Privacy NoticePrincess Charlotte stole the show at the Men’s Singles Final at Wimbledon with her animated facial expressions as the game went on. Alongside mum Kate, our Princess of Wales, they attended the final where Kate was on hand to give out the winner’s prize. Dressed to impress, Charlotte had on a cute blue chiffon polka dot dress from Guess and stepped it up with a pair of pink Ray-Bans. All her locks were nicely tied back to give full glory to her cheeky grin while she cheered along for the men’s final. The nine year old Royal was seen wincing, cheering, and smiling as she watched the players compete for the prestigious title.

Charlotte’s emotions throughout the game, from her joyful smiles to curious looks and uncomfortable grimaces, were clearly visible. Mum Kate, always a tennis enthusiast, was there to hand over the trophy to champ Carlos Alcaraz as he nabbed another win against Novak Djokovic. She got a hearty welcome full of applause and cheers, ensuring the mother-daughter pair made their grand entrance to take center court in the Royal box. Before sitting down, Princess Charlotte couldn’t contain her excitement at getting to meet British sensation, Emma Raducanu. In addition to rubbing shoulders with Emma, they also met Sonay Kartal, Lily Miyazaki, Lucy Shuker and Flora Johnson.

The princess was accompanied by her mother on the outing

The young Royal was spotted making a “pinky promise” with wheelchair tennis player Shuker, vowing that she and her mum would give the sport a go. Kate shared a heartfelt moment with Emma Radacanu, who exited in the fourth round of this year’s championships, saying, “It was so hard to see you go out.” The US Open champ responded, expressing how “amazing” it was to have the princess’s support and to “see her here looking so healthy and happy”. The 21 year old tennis star voiced her admiration for Kate’s presence at the tournament today amidst her ongoing cancer treatment. She said: “I think it just shows her resilience and how much of a role model she is and it’s amazing to see her here looking so healthy and happy.”

Kate’s sister Pippa was also in attendance

Originally, the Duchess of Gloucester, who has been the Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association for 25 years, was set to step in if the Princess of Wales couldn’t attend due to her ongoing treatment. However, Buckingham Palace later confirmed that the Princess of Wales would indeed be attending, accompanied by her daughter Princess Charlotte and her sister, Pippa Middleton.
