Privacy Notice Princess Charlotte, despite her tender years and Royal status, seems to have her sights set on a career in nursing. The young princess, daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, has shown her caring side during public appearances, often seen attentively looking after her younger brothers. It’s been reported that Charlotte has expressed a desire to become a nurse, inspired by her father’s discussions about the crucial work of NHS staff. A source from the palace divulged to New Idea: “She’s obviously just a little kid but still, Will and Kate swelled with pride. She’s such a caring little girl who also knows what she wants, so they wouldn’t be surprised if she does take on nursing as one of her big causes when she’s older.” However, Charlotte isn’t the only one in the family with aspirations beyond the crown. In 2018, it was revealed by the Mirror that Prince George, too, harbours dreams of a different path. At an event at Kensington Palace honouring Scotland Yard, Police Commissioner Jayne Richardson recalled suggesting to Prince William that George and Charlotte might like to join the police cadets. William shared an insight into George’s interests, saying: “[George] is obsessed, actually, by the police… cars, toys, everything.”, reports Edinburgh Live. Prince William has also spoken about his son George’s keen interest in the police force before. On a trip to Helsinki, Finland, in 2017, he even handed over George’s Christmas list to Santa Claus himself, which included a request for a single gift – a police car.

“I’ve seen you and I had to give you this letter,” William revealed at the time. “He hasn’t written down many requests, so I think one request is probably OK.” Interestingly, it seems that William himself once dreamt of joining the police force when he was a child. Princess Diana’s biographer Andrew Morton shared in his book: “William and Harry were aware of their destiny. On one occasion the boys were discussing their futures with Diana. ‘When I grow up I want to be a policeman and look after you Mummy,’ said William. Quick as a flash Harry replied, with a note of triumph in his voice, ‘Oh no you can’t, you’ve got to be king’.”

Prince Louis, like his father, has high aspirations for his future career. The young Royal showed a keen interest in painting during The Big Help Out volunteering day amid the 2023 coronation festivities, enthusiastically participating alongside the Wales family. However, when asked by a volunteer about a future as a painter, he had a different career path in mind, reportedly stating, “No, a fighter pilot! ” This ambition isn’t surprising given his family’s history; Prince William balanced Royal duties with his role as a search and rescue pilot following his RAF training, and King Charles has also served in both the RAF and the Royal Navy.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
