Privacy Notice A lip reader has spilled the beans on Prince William’s clear instructions to Duchess Kate as they navigated a major Royal event. Last year in June, members of the Royal Family gathered together to honour their late grandmother the Queen during her Platinum Jubilee celebrations. After the service, the couple were spotted chatting on the steps of the cathedral as they awaited their car to take them to the Guildhall for a lunch reception. A lipreader has disclosed what he believes they said during their exchange, which included clear instructions from Prince William to Duchess Kate, reports Mirror Online. According to lip reading expert John Cassidy, as they emerged onto the steps, Kate remarked on the service saying: “It went very well, very well” with William replying: “Yes, perfect.”

Afterwards, William could be seen waving to the crowd saying hello, and Mr Cassidy says the prince then turned to Kate and said: “Wait for that to move, then we can go.” Meanwhile, a body language expert who looked at the couple at the same event believes the Prince of Wales gave Prince Harry the “opposite of an acknowledgement” and a “barrier gesture”. Since their feud became public, it has been rare for Prince William and Prince Harry to attend the same Royal events. However, last June, the estranged brothers managed to put their differences aside to honour their late grandmother during her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their first public appearance at a Royal event since stepping down from official duties, but the atmosphere was far from warm. The distance between the brothers was palpable, with Prince William and his wife Kate seated far from Harry and Meghan, avoiding any interaction during the service. Body language expert Judi James shared with the Mirror that William seemed to use a “barrier gesture” as he walked by Harry, indicating tension. Judi noted: “Harry looked firmly resigned to the back row here and was not sitting behind his brother as he was for the last service of remembrance.”

She observed Harry’s relief when joking with Zara Tindall afterwards, but during the service, his expressions and rapid blinking hinted at anxiety, often leaning on Meghan for support. William, on the other hand, appeared to deliberately ignore Harry, with Judi describing: “There was the opposite to an acknowledgement from William as he walked past Harry’s row during the parade out of the service. Sucking in his lips and with his chin pulled up in a gesture of resolve he appeared to turn his head in the other direction for a moment, raising his order of service high in a barrier gesture.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
