Privacy NoticePrince Louis, known for his playful antics at royal events, often interacts with another young royal who shares a close bond with him. Growing up in the public eye, it’s not uncommon for royal children to find ceremonies dull. Six year old Louis, the youngest of Prince William and Kate’s brood, is frequently spotted having a bit of fun – most notably during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations when he cheekily pulled faces at his mum. And there seems to be one unlikely person who Louis enjoys goofing around with, yet also manages to keep him in line when he gets a bit too carried away. That would be Mia Tindall, the daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall, who happens to be good pals with her royal cousin.

Mia, 10, the granddaughter of Princess Anne, has been seen soothing her younger cousin Prince Louis when he throws a strop. During the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Mia was caught on camera making Louis chuckle from her seat. And at Christmas 2023, the cousins were photographed chatting and holding hands as they entered St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, reports the Mirror. But the friendship isn’t just between Louis and Mia. Many Royal children often attend festivities together. Louis, along with his older siblings Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, nine, were snapped alongside Mia at a royal event. The cheeky cousins squeezed tight by a window, stealing glances at the pomp of Trooping the Colour in 2022. With her own broodLena, aged five and little Lucas at twoMia Tindall lives without a royal title, much like her mum Zara, who was never bestowed one as a child following Princess Anne’s decision.

Even though the Tindall tots aren’t queueing up for the throne, whispers tell of possible titles yet to come as The Firm shifts focus to fresh-faced royals post-Megxit. A source spilled to Express that a high-level summit last summer at Balmoral zeroed in on the monarchy’s children, tasked with safeguarding its legacy. “The strategy now is to move away from focusing on what the Sussexes are doing and place an emphasis on the next generation of royals,” an insider confided. “The future of the Royal Family doesn’t just hinge on the Wales family but also on other members of the Royal Family that hold a visible profile in this country and around the world. It’s all about building a brand and the family recognises that.” Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
