Privacy NoticePrince Harry’s latest move could cause “great disappointment” to his book publishers, but the Royal Family will be celebrating, a Royal expert has claimed. The paperback edition of the Duke of Sussex’s best-selling memoir, Spare, is due to be released, but he has chosen not to add any new details to the book. It is common that people will add further chapters to paperback editions, but Harry has opted to keep his book the same. This will no doubt come as a huge relief to the Royals, especially his brother Prince William, 42, and wife Kate, 43, as well as King Charles, 75, and Queen Camilla, 76. It could be that Harry doesn’t want to cause any more upset among the Royals, as his book is already filled with huge bombshells about the highly private family. Michael Cole has claimed that Harry’s latest move could be an olive brach to the Royals, especially after insiders claimed he is hoping to improve his image in the UK.

Michael told GB News: “According to pals in Britain, he wants to improve his image on this side of the Atlantic so that he can come here more often. Apparently he even has thoughts of performing minor royal duties. I think the chances of that are between slim and none. It apparently seems to be his purpose. He has got friends over here. Maybe he renewed his acquaintance with them when he went to his uncle’s funeral.” Former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond revealed that should Harry have chosen to use his paperback to “renew his attacks” on the Royals, it would have definitely ended any hopes of reconciliation in the future. She revealed that his publishers will no doubt be disappointed, but his family will be breathing a sigh of relief. Chatting exclusively to OK!, Jennie said: “I think Harry must have realised that if he used his paperback to renew his attacks on his royal relatives, it would signal a complete end to any hope of reconciliation. So he has taken a much wiser course, possibly to the great disappointment of his publishers. I think he genuinely does want to put all the rancour behind him and move on with his life, but I’m sure he must also be hoping that he can negotiate some kind of peace, at least with his father.”

She went on to say this is all a “good sign”, as the new paperback should not create any headlines. Jennie added: “So, in short, it’s a good sign that he’s not taking up arms again against his family and therefore there really seems to be no reason why the publication of his book in paperback form should create any new headlines – – which will be a relief to Charles and Camilla, and William and Catherine.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
