Privacy NoticePrince Harry “thinks he’s bigger than he actually is” and has ended up as the “loser” after ditching the UK for the US, a Royal photographer has claimed. The Duke of Sussex relocated to America in 2020 with wife Meghan Markle after they both decided to step down from royal duties. The couple now reside in Montecito, California, with their two children, Prince Archie and his younger sister Princess Lilibet. Harry, 39, hasn’t been on great terms with members of the Royal Family since leaving the UK, most notably his older brother William, 42, and father King Charles, 75. Following reports claiming Harry is looking to improve his image in the UK, photographer Arthur Edwards, known for snapping photos of the Royals throughout his career, has shared his thoughts on the Duke’s situation.

Speaking to The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show, Arthur revealed: “I think he thinks he’s bigger than he actually is. I also think Meghan doesn’t want to come here anymore, He comes back but she never comes with him.” The photographer went on to say the King is “really upset” that he’s “never going to see” his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet, who should be “here enjoying the life of the Royal Family”. Arthur added: “Instead of that, they’re stuck in their house in Montecito and they’re just celebrities in a town full of celebrities. He’s the loser, big time.” Harry has visited the UK on a number of occasions since relocating to America, including Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral and King Charles’ Coronation. Most recently, the Duke returned to attend a memorial service for his late uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, at St Mary’s Church in Snettisham, Norfolk.

It has been reported that Harry stayed at the Spencer family’s ancestral home of Althorp House during his trip. The property is his uncle Earl Spencer’s residence and was the childhood home of his late mother, Princess Diana. She was laid to rest on an island within the Round Oval Lake at Althorp House following her tragic death in 1997. While the memorial service may have provided Harry with an opportunity to catch up with the Spencers, it seems he and brother William still avoided one another despite both attending the memorial for Lord Robert. A source told The Sun that the brothers made a very subtle entrance, while another person pointed out: “William and Harry were both there but we never saw them speak to each other and they were keeping their distance.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
