Privacy NoticePrince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly made a significant decision regarding their two children, Prince Archie, five and Princess Lilibet, three. A source has claimed that Harry has “won” the debate with his wife over whether to include their young children in their upcoming Netflix shows. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently developing two new series for the streaming platform – one celebrating “cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship”, and another set at the US Open Polo Championship. It’s understood that Meghan’s cookery show won’t be filmed at their £11 million Montecito home but at a neighbour’s house instead.

However, it’s believed that their children will not feature in either show, as Harry wishes to keep them out of the public eye, while Meghan is more open to showcasing them. A source told The Sun on Sunday that the couple “have not always agreed on how much they should expose their children to the media but, in this case, Harry has clearly won”. Their young children have only been seen in public on a handful of occasions so far. But it’s not just about maintaining their children’s normality; a friend close to the couple claimed that safety concerns were the primary reason behind their decision to shield them from the public glare, reports the Express. “Harry has been reluctant to show his children publicly, not out of a desire to hide them but to protect their privacy and safety from potential threats,” a source told PEOPLE.

King Charles hasn’t had the joy of seeing little Archie or Lilibet since June 2022, which was when Harry and Meghan last visited for the memorable Platinum Jubilee weekend of the late Queen. Now there’s an increasing concern that due to his ongoing cancer treatment, despite resuming royal duties, Charles might never get the chance to bond with his youngest grandchildren again. The editor at Majesty magazine, Joe Little, commented: “It would be great to think that at some point soon the King would get to visit the grandchildren that he has seen very little of, but he is 75 and still not in the best of health.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
