Although Prince Andrew is reported to have received the keys last year, he hasn’t relocated to the property, leaving it empty for over a year. Now it’s been reported that Prince Andrew is attempting to arrange for his daughter Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank, and their two young children, August and Ernest, to live there. “Andrew won’t move into Frogmore but is still trying to wangle it for his family,” a source told Express.co.uk. “Eugenie has stayed there on and off since Harry and Meghan left for America, she helped pack up their things.”

Princess Eugenie, who usually stays at Ivy Cottage within the Kensington Palace grounds when she’s in the UK, has been splitting her time between there and Frogmore Cottage, which famously underwent a £2.4 million refurbishment ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s move-in. The Princess of York and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, also enjoy their summer getaways at their villa in Portugal, reports the Express. However, according to the publication, the pair are looking to establish a more permanent base in the UK. “Eugenie and Jack’s hearts lie in the UK, and they need a bigger home for their family,” the source added. “They adore Frogmore Cottage and have stayed there often so making it into a full-time home makes sense.” OK! has contacted Buckingham Palace for comment. Meanwhile, Eugenie’s older sister, Princess Beatrice, 36, has settled down in the Cotswolds with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, their three-year-old daughter Sienna, and their eight-year-old stepson Wolfie, who lives with them part-time. Earlier this month, Beatrice announced she is expecting her second child, due next spring. Announcing the news of Princess Beatrice’s pregnancy, a statement from Buckingham Palace read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring; a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three. His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”

Despite trying to secure his daughter’s living situation, it has been reported that King Charles has reportedly given Prince Andrew an ultimatum regarding his residence at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.
