More infoJoin us on WhatsApp Peter Andre has admitted he’s worried about ‘wrecking’ the routine his wife Emily MacDonagh has created for their baby daughter Arabella now he’s home from a busy touring schedule and back with the family. The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, who has been busy touring with The Best Of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons show over recent weeks, took to his weekly column to share his joy at being back home with the family. But admitting he’s got some catching up to do on the dad duties, he recalled a recent instance where he had put Arabella’s clothes on inside out – dubbing himself a typical dad. Elsewhere in the column, Peter wished acting legend Bruce Willis a happy birthday and gave his opinion on the new Snow White movie controversy.

My Chaotic Return It’s great to be back home doing normal things after being on the road with the Frankie Valli tour. The other day I was changing Arabella’s nappy and I put all her clothes back on inside out. Cunningly, Emily filmed it and reminded me I only had one job, LOL. I think it’s just a dad thing – or maybe just a me thing. Emily’s been amazing over the past three months and got into a brilliant routine – so I’ll try not to come back and wreck it! One thing’s for sure, my family are glad to have me back. Chilling News I read a report last week that kids under eight should avoid drinking slushies because of the ingredient glycerol, which is used to stop them from freezing. It’s nice to treat the kids occasionally– when you go to the cinema or somewhere – and I’ve probably been a little lax on these occasions. After seeing this new research, we’ll definitely be steering clear of any slushies in the near future. What I find scary is information comes out daily about different things, but I always say that I’m open to learning. Happy Birthday to a legend It’s Bruce Willis’s 70th birthday this week. It was only a few weeks ago I rewatched all the Die Hard films – he really is an incredible actor. At 70, Bruce should be celebrating his phenomenal career and legacy but, since his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia, I’m sure he’s battling a lot. I hope, surrounded by loved ones, that his 70th birthday is as great as he is.

Classic Controversy Disney has been involved in a bit of controversy over its new version of Snow White for things like using CGI for the ‘magical creatures’ instead of the original seven dwarves. It’s important to remember that the original stories and films were very much of their time and, yes, there are definitely things that don’t sit comfortably with today’s audiences. I think it’s important to leave classic films as they were. New films can be as diverse as ever, but recreating classics and putting actors out of work for CGI is not the solution.

Yamas It’s the national day of Greece on 25 March and obviously my lovely parents are from Cyprus so we too are Greek. If it’s good weather on the day, hopefully I can throw together a fantastic barbecue for Emily and the kids. The children love their diverse heritage and are very proud to be Greek – as well as British, of course.
