Privacy NoticeTOWIE hunk Pete Wicks and his dance partner Jowita Przysta were all smiles on Strictly’s It Takes Two, adding fuel to the fire of romance rumours with their undeniable chemistry. Chatting with host and ex-Strictly pro Janette Manrara, they opened up about their journey on the BBC dance competition and their growing bond. Pete shared: “I am absolutely loving it and I never thought I would be because I didn’t think this was really my thing. I’m not a dancer.” “I don’t think I have rhythm. But what I am loving is the whole learning experience and the bit that is most exciting for me, in the rehearsal room with Jowita. It’s my favourite bit because I’m a bit geeky and I love to learn something that’s really and utterly new to me, it makes me really happy,” reports the Express. Then, turning to Jowita with a twinkle in his eye, Pete confessed: “And she makes me really happy every day.” A clearly touched Janette responded: “Aw, you guys. This is cute!”

The fans are feeling the sparks too, with one tweeting: “The electricity between Pete and Jovita is palpable.” Another fan agreed, posting: “Pete and Jowita have the best chemistry of any couple this series by far.” Not just content with singing her praises on TV, Pete also raved about Jowita on his podcast Staying Relevant, which he co-hosts with his BFF and jungle king Sam Thompson.

“Jowita is just – I could not have got a better partner,” he enthused. Pete got candid with Sam, confessing: “I can’t sit here and go ‘she’s my life’ – we don’t know each other that well. But what I do know is that she makes me feel good.” “And that is really important and hopefully I make her feel good and that’s a really nice place to be, you know what I mean?”

Despite the undeniable spark between Pete and Jowita, their Paso Doble performance to The Prodigy’s hit Firestarter didn’t quite ignite the excitement amongst the judges, earning them a modest 17 out of 40 points. This left them on par with Paul Merson and Karen Hauer in a near-bottom position. In contrast, TV icon Toyah Willcox and her dancing partner Neil Jones found themselves at the tail end of the leaderboard after their Tango merited only 12 points.
